The Agape Feast -- Wednesdays at 6:00 PM (when SDSU classes are in session)
From ancient times, the Agape Feast is the Table of Welcome for all people. "Table" is purposeful gathering to strengthen shared meaning, values, faith and service. It is the forming of community where we explore how “We” become fully ourselves in community. Our weekly meals at Agape House provide an ongoing table of fellowship, communal discernment and theological reflection. It is a time and space where many of the ideas for service and learning emerge. There is nourishment in terms of food, prayer, and wisdom traditions, and what arises is both a hunger to learn and be in relationship with the Incarnate Word of God, and a hunger to find purpose in that relationship that shapes identity, vocation and leadership.
